Ski Mt Snow, Bromley & Stratton Mountains ~ all easily accessible from the farm, and offer cross country & down hill opportunities. Area Sports Shops rent snow shoes & cross country skis to explore the countryside, or try the groomed trails at nearby Marlboro College. In Brattleboro, the Retreat Meadows offer ice skating & ice fishing. Winter weekends, from dawn till dusk, 50 to 100 people are likely to be out enjoying fun on the ice; during the week you may have the whole Retreat Meadows to yourself. And, the World class, Harris Hill Ski Jump, is held each February.
