Walking & biking the back roads of Vermont is one of life’s simplest pleasures ~ especially during fall foliage. Take a gondola ride up one of the area ski mountains to view the fall colors. Mt Snow, Bromley and Stratton Mountains are all nearby.
October brings local Apple Pie Festivals, Pumpkin Festivals (the Keene, New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival is world famous), and Ham & Baked Bean Suppers abound. Oktoberfest will find you sipping any number of micro brews made right here in our fine state of Vermont.
Brattleboro Farmers Market is open from through October. The Saturday market offers Autumn’s bounty of local vegetables, fruits and flowers & numerous vendors sell Vermont products.
